Peach Theme Dinner Party

For my mom’s birthday this year I wanted to make it extra special and extra fabulous! Partly due to the fact that we had to stay home and mostly due to the fact that I needed to do something to entertain my creativity. Also, just love birthdays. I love making people feel special and being part of the reason that they had a great one.

My mom’s birthday is in the Spring, so I figured a peach theme was pretty, bright, and happy.

We could use a little of all of that these days.

Menus & Name Tags

For the menus and the name tags, I printed them on cardstock paper, then used a single hole punch and peach ribbon to tie them together. Easy and fancy looking :)

Balloon Arch

I ordered a balloon kit off Amazon and used some of my own for the balloon arch. I attached it to a gold divider that my mom found in HomeGoods a few months ago for my sister’s baby shower…similar one here.

Signature Drink

I went to the liquor store and bought these mini patron bottles, used the same ribbon from the menus, and purchased these cute napkins and straws. I pulled a fancy frame out of my room and printed this cute little illustration on the same card stock that I printed the menus on. I trimmed it down to 5x7 and done! Similar frame here

I emptied the bottles and chilled them until we were ready to cheers to the birthday girl. I used a small funnel to refill them with the tequila gimlet mix. So good.

Table

I used my mom’s fabulous China and purchased these dinner napkins off Macy’s. I wanted to tone down the fanciness a little and add a warm touch, these were perfect for that. I also used her beautiful candle holders for my peach candle sticks and repurposed fake florals from my sister baby shower and left over balloons. We moved the balloon arch into the dining room to enjoy it all night long!

Cake

My sister was in charge of the cake (who is not a baker whatsoever), after some scary pictures she sent me, it turned out great! My mom loves coconut, so we stuck to simple boxed cake mix and coated it with coconut flakes. It was amazing.
